Today, December 27, 2024, at the Saint Mary School in Limassol, we had a meeting of all the priests and nuns of the Catholic Church of Cyprus: Latins and Maronites. With the presence of the bishops: His Excellency Mons. Selim Sfeir and His Excellency Mons. Bruno Varriano ofm. The Franciscan friars (OFM), the religious of the Incarnate Word, the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Hearts, the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Apparition, the Sisters of “Divine Help”, the Latin and Maronite diocesan priests participated.
The fraternal meeting began with morning prayer and was followed by the meditation of Father Rogerio Alves Gomes (Academic Director of Saint Barnabas Pastoral Education and training Center of Cyprus), with the theme: “And who were of the faith were one in heart and soul” (Acts of the Apostles 4,32), with a fruitful sharing in the small reflection groups.
The day was animated by the game of “tombola” creating a family atmosphere among the participants. The day ended with a delicious lunch prepared by our Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Limassol.
