FEAST OF ST. JOSEPH, LARNACA

Main

On the morning of Saturday, March 21, 2026, the Sisters of St. Joseph in Larnaca celebrated the Feast of St. Joseph their Patron Saint. The Mass was presided by Fr. Andrew Verdote, OFM, Assistant Parish Priest for Our Lady of Graces, Larnaca.

In his homily, Fr. Verdote pointed out that St. Joseph is a model of authentic fatherhood, and he noted that the Church also celebrates him as the patron of workers on May 1st. We also honor him as a patron of the Catholic Church, especially during the celebration of the Feast of the Holy Family.

The Mass was attended by a great number of faithful… members of the Association of St. Joseph in Larnaca, which bears the nameAssociation of St. Joseph Protector of the Needy, and a big group of students who had studied and graduated under Sister Thomas over the many years and a number of children who were taught catechism for First Holy communion and Confirmation by Sr. Thomas Farrugia.

After the celebration, all those who participated at the Holy Mass exchanged greetings and offered their special congratulations and thanks to Sister Thomas.

St. Joseph, pray for us.
