On Thursday, 19 March 2026, the monthly priests’ meeting was held in the presence and with the participation of His Excellency Bruno Varriano, Patriarchal Vicar for the Latins in Cyprus. A group of sisters also took part in the meeting, which was hosted by the Parish of St. Nicholas the New in Kyrenia.
The meeting opened with prayer at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in Kyrenia. Several topics were then reviewed, including the situation of St. Nicholas the New Parish, the nature of the work of Caritas in Cyprus, the activities carried out in the field of catechesis, and finally the preparations for the celebration of the Day of Vocations and the importance of praying for vocations to the consecrated life.
