On June 20, the Mass of thanksgiving for the closing of another year of the Theology Course for Laypeople of the St. Barnabas Training Centre was celebrated by His Excellency Mons. Bruno Varriano. The ceremony took place at the Church of Santa Cruz and was attended by the course students, parishioners, and ecclesiastical authorities.
The Archbishop of Campobasso (Italy), accompanied by a priest from his clergy, the parish priest Fr. Theodoros, and the Academic Director Fr. Rogério Gomes were also present. The celebration was described as a very beautiful and carefully celebrated moment, marked by the reverent participation of the community and the spirit of gratitude for the fruits of the academic year.
After the mass, the students organized a cocktail that brought together participants and guests for a moment of fellowship, sharing, and friendship, strengthening the bonds between the parish community and the St. Barnabas Training Centre.
